Golang Job: Full Stack Software Engineer

The ROLE

The Full-Stack Software Engineer will be responsible for helping to design, develop and maintain Syniti’s industry leading data management platform. We use a myriad of technologies and have both on-premises enterprise and cloud native solutions. The ideal candidate is a hands-on platform builder with significant experience in developing scalable data platforms. Our engineering teams are responsible for building, deploying and operating their own services.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Write well-crafted, testable, readable and maintainable code
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand and develop solutions to their business problems
• Utilize your understanding of software best practices to influence the design and architecture of our products
• Participate actively in code reviews to ensure quality and distribute knowledge
• Contribute to the debugging and troubleshooting of a complete stack of services

WHAT IT TAKES

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in engineering, software development or related technical field
• Highly proficient in C#, Java or Golang.
• Experience or skill in JavaScript, TypeScript.
• Experience working with modern front-end frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.js
• Database query and analysis experience
• REST API development and/or event-driven architectures
• Strong problem solving and debugging skills
• Ability to work closely with team while remote (Slack, MS Teams, Zoom)

MORE PREFERRED SKILLS

• Familiarity with virtualization, containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong experience with relational databases writing complex queries and statements
• Cross platform database experience SQL Server, Hana, Postgres, Oracle, Snowflake, etc.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture
• Experience with ORMs such as Entity Framework
